Ali Harper grew up in Burnley and now lives in Yorkshire, where she writes feminist crime fiction. She has an MA in creative writing and a PhD on women in noir fiction. She works as an editor and mentor for a prominent literary consultancy.
Ali’s debut novel, The Disappeared, is a mystery set in a missing persons bureau in Leeds, and is published by HarperCollins UK, and TV rights have been optioned by Yorkshire-based Duck Soup Productions. Ali’s second novel, The Runaway, is also published by HarperCollins UK.
