Jamie Doward was for many years a top reporter on The Observer. His first novel, Toxic (Constable), is a brilliantly plotted, adrenalin-fuelled thriller involving a conspiracy to bring down the world’s banking system that pits the CIA against MI5, and is only foiled by the persistence and bravery of Kate Pendragon, a financial investigator, marathon runner, and heroine for our times. Kate’s adventures continue in Hostage (Constable).
Jamie has also written Running Away, which tells how marathon running helped him deal with a whole variety of personal problems.
