Jin Yong
Jin Yong is the pen name of Louis Cha (1924-2018), the billion selling Chinese novelist whose stories of history, chivalry, and martial arts are loved, watched, and read by generations of Chinese. Legend of the Condor Heroes (MacLehose Press) follows the fate of the sons of two close friends who die in battle against the invading forces of the Jin. A Hero Born (translated by Anna Holmwood), is the first book of twelve in this series.
