Kit Fielding
Kit Fielding comes from a family of travellers and has spent most of his working life in the building trade. His debut novel, Thursday Nights at the Bluebell Inn (Coronet), interweaves the stories of the six members of a ladies’ darts team into a tragi-comic saga about life, love, lust, and loss.
His second novel, The Undead Gypsy (Coronet), draws on his travelling background to tell, in sparkling picaresque style, the life-affirming story of its eponymous hero and the crimes he gets drawn into. Film and tv rights are under option.
His third novel, Under Vixens Mere (Inkspot Publishing), tells the stories of a canal-boat community where life and death, love and disaster, are constant companions.
