Ros Carne

Ros Carne has a background in journalism and law, and was a theatre critic for the Financial Times and the Guardian before training as a barrister. She has recently worked as an ethics examiner for the Bar Standards Board, but now writes full-time.

Her debut novel The Pupil (Canelo, 2020) is a nuanced and absorbing psychological suspense drama about an escalating battle for territory - both professional and personal - between two ambitious women: a successful London barrister and her attractive, unscrupulous pupil.
