Pre-Easter news

Some exciting news: Nate Crowley, recently taken on by Jamie Cowen, has been signed by Solaris to write a book based on his hugely popular series of tweets based on fictional video games. Nate has previously written two novellas for Abaddon (The Sea Hates a Coward and Grand Amazon) but The 100 Best Video Games of All Time (That Never Existed) will be a departure to ostensibly non-fiction realms, in which Nate will write fictional gaming magazine reviews of the 100 best games from the 950+ that he invented as part of the twitter explosion. Solaris will publish in Autumn 2017; you can read the full press release via Buzzfeed here.

We are further thrilled to announce that Guy Jones’ beautiful middle-grade fantasy The Ice Garden has been snapped up by the wonderful people at Chicken House, and Constable & Robinson have acquired Cold Breath: the 5th Gunna crime novel from Quentin Bates.

Elsewhere, Mark Hill celebrated paperback publication of his debut thriller Two O’Clock Boy (Sphere) on Thursday 6th April. The reviews and quotes that have rolled in have to be seen to be believed; suffice to say this is sure to be the beginning of a long and successful crime writing career.

Happy Easter!
